In the 2016 issue of The Princeton Review, Bellarmine University was rated among America’s best four year colleges. Citing Bellarmine as a school with an “absolutely incredible” sense of community and a “high-energy school completely focused on academics.” These are remarkable accolades, but we at the mission have long been impressed with Bellarmine students’ spirit of volunteerism. Recently, a group of about twenty-five incoming freshmen spent a long morning tackling a sizable group project at the mission’s Hotel Louisville. The work was hard, but the students kept a positive attitude and no one was heard grumbling or complaining. Impressive! Which gets us back to Bellarmine University’s sterling reputation and its students who care about our community. Many thanks to those who participated in this student service project!
