Felicia Spence, a business student from Brown Mackie College, recently created a vocational training presentation to benefit the women and men in Wayside Christian Mission’s Work Therapy Program. In this project, she demonstrated a high degree of enthusiasm and passion—sterling qualities needed to succeed in business. “I’ve already been accepted into the Master’s program at The University of Louisville, where I’ll attend to receive my Masters of Business Administration Finance. I love school and I’ll inspire any young adult to go to school, then college, in order to become a successful career minded individual. I grew up in the Newburg area off of Indian Trail, graduated from Slaughter Elementary, Myzeek Middle, and went to high school at Pleasure Ridge Park. Throughout my childhood and teenage life, I’ve always played sports and I’m in every trophy case at every school that I ever attended, for championships, in all sports. I grew up in my childhood as an All-American athlete. With the world at my fingertips I grew up and wanted to be a Business Administrator of Finance, now that I reached part of my goal I’m ready to teach, train, and empower people as individuals how to be successful people right now today.” We are grateful to Felicia Spence, an enthusiastic, goal-orientated volunteer who believes in the mission’s work.
